A slow week

Well not much going on here to write about this week. The kids had some friends spend the night last Sunday night since they got out of school Monday. Then they had a birthday party to go to.
Mikaela is excited to be making her first Confession next Wednesday. They are to think of only 3 things for their first time in LOL I gues it'll make it easier for them since they'll be nervous.
Kevin has applied for a job in Ky. that would be perfect for him! So all prayers would be greatly appreciated! It is in Madisonville, so pretty close to home!
Love you all :)

Our Weekend :)

Well haven't wrote in a few days....been a little busy. Friday had to run errands and work ASP. Saturday we went to a bday party and church, and when we weren't doing that we were looking at flooring. I'm so excited we decided on tile and Kevin will be installing it soon with some help from a few friends. Next we will be needing new carpet, but I'm not sure when, maybe next year :) Still need to by a DVD recorder so that will be our next big purchase. Anyone know of a good brand or what to look for?
The kids are out of school tomorrow, and somehow I ended up with 2 extra kids over here to spend the night! How did I get suckered into that one LOL Made some yummy blackbean and chicken soup(which of course the kids didn't like) and caramel brownies! Oooh and I just realized no milk for cereal tomorrow, guess we'll be having waffles with sugary syrup. Heehee Also got another b-day party to go to tomorrow and a quick grocery stop so not sure if I'll be writing tomorrow, I also desperately need to work on my scrapbook....I've been spending way too much time on this computer that last few months.

Napoleon Dynamite Fans!

Went to Target last night while the kiddos were at PSR and found these shirts for them on clearance for $2.24~~YIPPY! I love a good deal :) The kids absolutely love this movie! Actually we all love it! It is hysterical! I really wanted to find that one that said "Give me your tots" but they were all gone. Cameron is even saying now he wants to be Napoleon for Halloween, won't that be hysterical.....or maybe he should go as Lloyd Christmas(since that is who everyone thought he looked like with his new hairdo when we were there at Christmas)

Just got a call from school, they gave me another day to work ASP, so that makes 3 days afterschool I'll be working. Perfect! Just the right amount of money!

Well I'm determined to do some scrapbooking tonight, so I really need to be getting off this computer, seeing as I'm on here everyday of my life!

Too warm for January

Just can't get over how warm it has been here lately, 60's all week and almost 70 they are saying for Thursday. Suprised we aren't getting the usual storms that come with these warm winter temps. I think we are due one Friday though, bet it will be a wopper! The weird thing is my basement stays so cold! I have to go outside to get warmed up!

Wanted to add too, the kiddos got their report cards last week. Mikaela made all A's again, even brought up some of her A's! And Cameron got AB honor roll, he brought up some of his grades too! I'm so proud of them! Cameron has been reading much better lately, but I still have trouble actually getting him to want to read..

Gotta go make some chili now (I know weird dinner huh, considering it's actually warm here) we have to head out to the kids PSR (religion) classes in a few hours.

Then there was the beginning.......

Hello all, just wanted to start this here blog so everyone can start to feel more connected with the family. You all know Kevin, wouldn't be surprised if we move another 4 or 5 times. He's still toying with idea of going back into the military, possibly as an officer, and if that is the case we'll be moving quite a bit. Just keep us all in your prayers that Kevin can find a stable job that he is happy with, and if in Kentucky well heck that is even better!
Not much going on today, have to go work ASP (after school program) and then Cameron has his Cubscout meeting, at least I think he does, the den leader normally emails up by now letting us know the time, but hasn't as of yet.
Well we'll see how this blog thing work.....until next time, tawtaw for now :)
